My Nudist Family
Cheef
Cheef was the first person in my area who helped me explore nudism. His site has wonderful message boards, nudist news, links, and even a Monday night chat. His site has a bit of a Philadelphia focus, which is extremely helpful for me!
Mom
Mom, also known as Cheri, is such a gift to me and the nudist world. When she’s not doing mom-things for me, she is the Executive Director of Travelites, a non-landed club in South Carolina. Clicking on her name will bring you to the “Owner” page of the Travelites website.
Information
NetNude.com
Netnude was the first place that gave me the ’real scoop’ about nudism. While there you’ll enjoy message boards, a chat room, photo gallery, and nude cartoons, Jan, the owner, is quite a character and she has created a place filled with useful information.
Nudist Resorts.org
The message boards at Nudist-resorts.org are some of the best on the net. The people who visit the board are helpful and informative, making me think about things from many different angles. NRO’s chatroom on Paltalk is definitely the best nudist chat area on the net.
Clothesfree.com
Clothesfree.com has message boards, “Nudes in the News,” weekly cartoons, articles, screensavers, and just about anything else you can imagine. This site has links to Shane Gentry and the Nekkid Monday Band– one of my favorite groups!
Reluctant Partner Brochure
The reluctant partner brochure was created by my mom to help women learn about nudism after their partner has become interested in clothes-free recreation. Any woman interested in learning more about nudism may benefit from the simple truths given in the brochure.
Nude-ertainment
Loxie and Zoot
Humorous naturist cartoons by Stephen Crowley. Reading the cartoons in the week in which I was adjusting to nudism made me realize how silly my preconceived notions were and allowed me to laugh at my apprehensions.
Clubs
AANR
The American Association of Nude Recreation serves the needs of North American nudists and their families by providing accurate information about nudism, overseeing numerous landed and non-landed clubs, and supporting nudist-friendly legislation.
The Naturist Society
The Naturist Society slogan, “Body acceptance is the idea, nude recreation is the way,” has defined my life. TNS works toward making nudism more accepted in our society through education about nudism. Their magazine “Nude and Natural” is one of my favorites and their online Skinny Dipping Shop is wonderful!
Tri-State Sun Club
Located in Northern NJ, the Tri-State Sun Club holds nude indoor swim socials year-round for nudists in the great Northeast to attend. The pool they rent is beautiful and the hot tub is spacious. Many of my buddies go to TSSC events, so going there is like a fun family reunion!
Travelites, Inc.
One of the two non-landed clubs I belong to, Travelites has been in existence since 1987 and has numerous nudist events each year. There are a LOT of food-related activities, hot-tubbing, trips to landed clubs, and home parties. One special feature of Travelites is the focus on giving back to the community through street clean-ups and auctions to support a charity for abused women and their children.
Bare Buns
My first visit with Bare Buns will take place this Saturday night, January 24th. I’ve heard WONDERFUL things about this club, though, including the fact that they have an excellent gender balance and there are many activities. I’ll let you know how it goes!
