Forest Murmurs is one of the oldest nudist clubs in the Northwest area.

Beginning in the mid-1950's, nudists from the Olympia peninsula joined together to plan, build, develop, and enjoy a comfortable setting for nude social activites. The club was given a membership charter (#80) by the American Association for Nude Recreation in 1956.

First located in Port Orchard, Washington, then in Silverdale, Washington, Forest Murmurs became a Travel Club in 1993. The spirit of enthusiasm, friendliness, cooperative association, and desire to further nudism in the Norhtwest has continued. Present members live in a wide area spanning from Seattle to Elma to Port Angeles to Olympia, Washington. The Forest Murmurs Olympics Games are a tradition which will continue with fun and prizes galore.
