has no facilities.so please remember to bring all that you need and clean up after
yourselves. Be
respectful of local fishermen and they won't bother you.
DIRECTIONS: From Salem, take I-5 toward Albany about 20 miles. 1 mile past the Ankany turn off and before the bridge you will come to the Santiam Wayside rest stop.Continue through the rest stop toward the underpass. To your right just before the under pass is a small parking lot for the Santiam River Greenway. Follow the trail back around the bend of the river (about a 1/4 mile) where you will find a large and secluded gravel beach and you've found it.

We visited this site and found it quite pleasant. If you continue on down the river past the gravel beach area you will come upon a large sand area next to the little inlet mentioned by Wandering Bear. The entire hike, with kids and coolers, only took about 10 minutes. We only came across one other person who had been visiting this site for over 9 years. He indicated that he rarely sees anyone there and that this is a great spot for beginners to get a feel for outdoor naturism without the crowd. This is a highly recommended site that we will be visiting again!

This is a nice little beach.. It is tucked away past the corrner of the river. There a little Inlet with a stream running through it which is good for wadeing. The ground is gravel until you get to the beach ,which is all sand. The fisherman dont go back here because its not a good place to fish. It is a great place just to sit back and get some sun or have a picnic,And the chance of meeting non-naturists (Who might be offended) there is rare. Its a great place if you dont mind the hike..
