Another tale of nudist and textile coming together in harmony.
On the way home from a Rainbow Gathering, I stopped along an empty stretch of highway somewhere between the Tahauganac (sp) Falls and Trumansburg,
north of Ithaca.
I went through an opening in the guard rails, and down a path about 200 ft. to the creek I knew would be flowing there on its way to the falls. I walked in and found a wide flat expanse of almost white, rock-bottom creek area with very little water flowing through the deeper pathways..., none more than a few inches.. But walking up-stream about 300 feet, I found a narrower place with a deeper pool.
I also found a woman by herself, sunning on an aluminum chaise alongside the creek.. Very nice looking and about 25.
She did had a suit on...; a two piece. But that’s ok of course. If she had been nude I would have thought I died and had gone to heaven. Her just *being* there was the last thing I would have expected in that seemingly isolated spot. :-) I told her I was coming from rainbow and looking for a place to take a ‘cleanup’ swim. She said that this was the best spot around. I told her I was sort of looking for a clothing optional place and asked if she minded if I go in nude. She said no, not at all, and so I did.
She was laying on her stomach and her face was turned away for awhile, but after I got out and was laying there, she eventually turned over to get
her front side done too.
With the shadows moving I had to move in her direction also. Eventually she was above me on the chaise and I was laying there easily seen and we were talking for about an hour. About Ithaca where she was from and the times I had been there.., and the rainbow gathering and nudity and other things. She said her name was Cheri. There were no clouds at all, and the sun at that time was extremely hot... Laying on the rock and talking like we did was such a nice and beautiful time. She eventually left, folding up her chair, saying goodby and walking the few minutes further upstream to where her car was parked. I stayed awhile longer, flat on my back on that table like rock, with my arms straight out like on a cross, with the sun blazing down, and I just hated to think about ending that moment....
But everything changes.
And so I did..........
I was home by 7 p.m.
Back to 'reality' again.
There was this term used elsewhere, but it came to mind again. ‘Harmless diversity’...
