We refer to photographs of children as ‘paper’ children.
They are not ‘real’ children.

Everyone is being just toooo protective of paper children these days. ~ Like arresting pictures will protect real children? ~ Well it’s not that simple. ~ Moreover, that kind of thinking is causing more harm than good. ~ These thoughts are to the detriment of a healthy nudist lifestyle in general and more specifically to the rights of nudist families to own photo albums and other records of their family and children as they grow up. ~  Many nudiests even, argue against the courts who defend our rights to these pictures, which I find totally incomprehensible.

I'm sure you know that you can go right now to several, if not many, binary groups, and pull pictures that would make the normal person cry. ~ I have been totally destroyed seeing some of them. ~ Yeah.., in the beginning of my life online I checked things out.., but no more. ~ The eyes are what got me most. ~ Just to think what's going on in those little minds at those times is enough to make anyone physically sick. ~ I certainly can not stop that stuff.... ~ But; at the same time, no one can tell me the pictures we might take of our children are anywhere in that same category. ~ Do people think just plain old nudity is what we’re talking about here? ~ If anyone thinks stopping nudists’ pictures or any non-sexual nude shots of children will protect children, they’re sadly mistaken and need to get a grip on reality.

There have always been pictures of children; clothed or not... ~ And thankfully so. ~  Children are the jewels in our lives. ~ They are the things that family albums and wonderful memories are made of. ~ They are the one and only quantity of which ‘families’ are made. ~ The nudist lifestyle changes non of this... ~ Nudist families are still families. ~ The desire to record their children’s activities, and growing up through life, is as real and needed by those parents as it is by any others. ~ To say that nudist parents can not nor should not take pictures of their own children is totally against the tenents of all we hold sacred and dear in this country.

Since the ‘70’s, there has been more and more awareness of the bad stuff going on in the world. ~ And so there should be. ~  But, as with anything else, there are many who ‘over’ react. ~ They emphasise the bad instead of celibrating the good and this subject has much more than it’s share of over reaction. ~ Hysteria. is more the word. ~ Many people today would and do just dump all ‘simple nudity’ pictures of children into the same pot as the most depraved. ~ This, by default, includes all the treasured works that were done by all those well known photographers, artists and illustrators throughout history. ~ It is obviously, a completely wrong way to think.

Assisting these people in their irrational view of life are a variety of cohorts. ~ There is the Radical Religious Right, the ‘RRR’. ~ Those who are never right. ~ They crank out their bile based on their damaged DNA. ~ Hereditary dementia and other mental impairments still existing throughout this country are like a pox on us; coming from the original Puritans, Pilgrims, and other fundamental believers of sin being anywhere and everywhere. ~ Those people were kicked out of Europe and elsewhere two hundred years ago like they got rid of all the low life in a well known science fiction book I’ve read...; the HHGTTG. ~ By sending a space ship full of people with totally useless mentalities and occupations to another world, far away..., and programming it to crash land. ~  So our bad seeds arrived in this country in a similar manner, to grow and to spoil. ~  Unfortunately the crash landing part wasn’t a part of it... ~ All you need to do to see the validity of this theory, is to take note of the fact that Europe and much of the rest of the civilized world suffers almost no part of the sexual sicknesses of the mind that we do here in the U.S.

Then too, we have the glory seekers. ~ District Attorneys and the like. ~ They need to build reputations for election time. ~ You know that elections require a lot of garbage to feed the masses. ~ Some DA’s actually earn them but this is very difficult to do. ~ They actually have to catch a ‘guilty’ person, who is more than likely trying to avoid capture. ~ Then you need to ‘prove’ your case too?

On the other hand, many simply build phony reputations, by enforcing what they say are laws. ~ This is where those pictures of children come into play. ~ They are useful here for them to build their ‘reputations’. ~ They attack weak opponents such as ordinary people who are not financially or otherwise prepared to defend themselves. ~  Instead of trying to catch real criminals, they listen for brain dead teenagers working at the corner drug store to tell them of *** c h i l d   p o r n o g r a p h e r s *** wanting to get their films developed. ~  Yeah! ~ But this is just too easy, right? ~ No sweat, plus it gets major media play. ~ But because there is no real law to nail anyone with, the DA then has to scare the poor father or mother picture taker to death. ~  Then they offer a way out. ~  A lesser charge!!! ~ Wow! ~ What a relief. ~ ‘We’ll take it’ they say... ~ We’ll admit to anything that doesn’t get us a lawyer’s bill or time in jail. ~ They confess to some crime they didn’t commit.

So the ‘prosecutors’ make it appear they are doing something good for society as they work to destroy it. ~ A crime was committed all right.., but by the DA, not the parent.

Perhaps the most unfortunate cohort of all are the nudists themselves. ~ Many nudists actually worry that paper children might be used ‘sexually’, and so they should not be taken in the first place. ~ Simply to prevent them from *somehow* falling into the wrong hands. ~ Excuse me? ~ That is totally insane. ~ Aren’t you forgetting all those ‘right’ hands they won’t be reaching either? ~ Ours? ~  Too many people seem willing to give up our rights just for the inane reason of ‘maybe’ keeping a ‘piece of paper’ out of the hands of people they don’t want to have it. ~  So I guess it’s better if *everyone* loses, eh? ~ Where some people get their ideas from is way beyond me...

Adults who believe paper children are real live children really need to get a grip on themselves. ~  Pictures of nudist children are simple pieces of paper or with some ink or dyes applied. ~ Just pieces of paper folks... ~ That’s all. ~  The child doesn’t know or feel a thing if you touch their picture.

Just think about it. ~ Who should care if these pictures distracted weirdo's for a while? ~ For any amount of time? ~ Let them buy all our magazines that they want. ~  They’re legal. ~ Let them spend all the time they want looking at them...,  by themselves. ~  If you exchange the thinking of ‘weirdos’ and ‘paper children’ with 'normal men’ and 'Playboy', it amounts to about the same thing, doesn’t it? ~ No harm done. ~ So what that ‘seeing is relieving’. ~ Isn’t it better that they are? ~  Instead of having them go looking for non-paper children?

If you fear that your pictures might be mistaken for the bad stuff for some reason, just don't take them to any corner drugstore for processing so that pathetic clerk can think they need to save your children from you. ~ But don’t give up taking the pictures out of fear of prosecution either. ~  It isn't going to happen. ~ Yes people get hit by lightning, but we still go out in the storms. ~ Nudists have won these cases in court and you'll only hate yourself in later years if you allow yourself to live in fear now.

There are *many* stories on the net about those who have been ‘arrested’ and then given the ability to ‘cop a plea’. ~ There are very *few* where you see an actual conviction of anyone on a major offense. ~ You accepting a plea bargain is the DA’s only means of a conviction. ~ That’s why they offer them. ~ They cannot win on the original charge. ~ If they thought they could, they would. ~ But still, there are many who are faced with heavy lawyers fees, potential heavy penalties, etc. who take that way out. ~ They should actually ‘outlaw’ the offering of plea bargains. ~  They are only designed to perpetuate the harassment of innocent people.

Here is what happens when you cop a plea.

When you accept a plea bargain, you will (likely) be dropped from a felony to a misdemeanor, but instead of getting proven innocent of the felony, you will be admitting doing something wrong that you did not do. ~  You will be a first offender so you will then be given a fine and/or warning and/or probation. ~ You will have a record and you will need to walk on eggs for many long years, if not the rest of your life; even after probation. ~ You will not be able to conduct your life as you previously lived it. ~ If that means simply taking pictures for the family album or in more of a professional manner such as artist, photographer, etc. ~ You may possibly lose much more income over time than what a lawyer would have cost. ~ You will need to forever limit your activities for fear of being placed in that same position a second time, via the same means. ~ Because of your previous acceptance of a plea bargain, there will be none offered the second time. ~ You be prosecuted as a felon if the DA feels he has sufficient cause. ~ That means, if you know the pictures in question this time are totally innocent, you need to put your trust in them and go with them. ~ They are the only things you can be prosecuted on. ~  Do not expect anything that may occur in the future to be seen as innocent as these are now. ~ It only takes an inadvertant twist of the body, a special glance, or what have you, to give future pictures a more suggestive appearance. ~ Don’t trust how they will ‘turn out’ at the photo finishers on any future shootings.

The pictures you have *now* will be their entire case against you. ~ They are all that they can convict you on and they must proven to be against the law as it is described. ~ If they’re not, they’re not.

If you do not accept a plea and do not admit to doing anything wrong, they cannot prosecute you on simple nudity, innocent pictures. ~ Not even something they may call ‘bad taste’. ~ Bad taste is not illegal. ~ If they try to infer that you should have known they were in *bad taste*, or anything less than the worse terms possible, you will know you have already won.

As long as you honestly know the pictures are innocent, and you fight it, they will back down. ~ Even if they do not, and you lose, you will still be a first timer and the judge will very likely ‘go easy’ on you. ~ He will fine and/or warn and/or put you on probation. ~ Nothing more than if you had accepted a plea.

It you fall for their ‘copping a plea’ bit, you will be playing right into their hands. ~  That is the ONLY way they can get anything on you. ~ If you confess to doing ‘something’ wrong, on your own!! ~ Then they can prosecute you.

Then of course we have our ‘nudist’ magazines. ~ There were many of them in years gone by but this same crazy thinking about child nudity has killed off many of them. ~ We are the losers. ~ Some say they were being bought by pervs...? ~ Maybe they were 30 years ago when that’s all they could get. ~ Today our magazines are way too tame. ~ They have moved on. ~ They get much ‘better’ stuff on the internet. ~ Our magazines are not an issue. ~ They are a right we have. ~ We are able to publish and buy them. ~ Defend it. ~ The judges have ruled that these books are in our interest and by inference, through protecting all freedoms, they are in the entire country's interest. ~ The courts have said that these pictures are political tools, protected by the constitution and usable by us to show and document our lifestyle. ~ We cannot be limited because of the actions of others.

Those who believe our books can be misunderstood to be bad, have no basis for making that claim. ~ Not only is it patently false, it is not our job to judge what is bad. ~ It is the courts job. ~ Most publishers are multifacited business people with an obvious ability to produce a variety of material for all manner of client. ~ Publishers may print Playboy and N type magazines side by side. ~  The other publications have nothing to do with us. ~ Nudist magazines are stand-alone. ~ They do not come from perversion nor do they lead to it. ~ Be happy we have them. ~  If some chose to see them as such, they are the ones who need help, not us.

Publishers of nudist magazines obviously study the various photographs available. ~  They choos only those scenes and poses of children which absolutely do not pander. ~ This most certainly is a conscious act meant to produce a particular product to depict our lifestyle. ~ It is quality controlled to be safe. ~ It is not tainted beef, small enough to be swallowed by infants, nor does it have any sharp edges. ~ That covers it for me...

For those who would buy the books for prurient interest, pity them. ~ As we do those who stand on the outskirts of a nude beach looking in. ~ It is an unfortunate circumstance that their heads are on wrong but we are not the watch dogs against the  world of pornography nor should we indicate in any fashion that we are living with it. ~ We are not! ~ Other than protecting ourselves, within our own ranks, we should not be concerned with it. ~ We just live our lives.

If anything , we need to spread the word that our lifestyle is more for  everyones 'salvation' than anything else. ~ That this other kind of person would basically disappear if people were brought up with no body shame and thusly a  perverted desire to 'see' them. ~ Our magazines provide the means of education for nudity and it becoming well known and accepted. ~ They should be placed on all newsstands, with the same rights as Country Living and Playboy. ~ The police or customs people who try to make them pornography are a more devious threat to our society than any of our books. ~ Sexploitation and other *porn stuff, like Howard Stern, MTV/E!, Babewatch, etc. would go away if everyone were nude.., but they would rather expand porn's very definition into our lifestyle. ~  The only healthy view of nudity that is left... ~ Then what?

Be grateful for these publishers and what they produce for us. ~ We need to keep our own minds pure and not look for false problems. ~  Else we play the same game as the overzealous customs agents and DA’s looking for election fodder.

Here are a few references taken from many, which speak of the non-effect of pornography on rapists, pedophiles and other sex offenders. ~ Of course in the case of children, they may actually be used in it’s production. ~ This of is where enforcement efforts must be concentrated. ~ Not in prosecuting the mere posession of family photographs. ~ Nude or not.

The Relationship Between Non-Enforcement of State Pornography Laws
and Rates of Sex Crime Arrests.

Source Archives of sexual behavior                                 Document type Article
Volume 25  Number 5  Pages 439-453  Year 1996         Language English
Abstract

The non-operation of antipornography statutes in four American states (Maine, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Washington) for varying periods between 1973 and 1986 provided an opportunity to examine the impact of such statutes and pornography availability on sex crimes because nonenforcement is associated with an increase in the availability of sexually explicit materials. ~ Arrests for property offenses and for rape, prostitution, and other sex offenses during the period before the suspension of the laws, when compared with the periode during suspension, reflected no significant changes. ~ Findings are consistent with other foreign and American studies that have failed to find a link between exposure to sexually explicit media materials and rates of reports of rape and other sex offenses.

Deviance and Criminality: The Case of Voyeur’s In a Peeper's Paradise
Author(s) Kutchinsky, B.
Source Diseases of the nervous system                Document type  Article
Volume 37  Number 3  Pages 145-151  Year 1976       Language English
Abstract

Discusses the fact that since legal restrictions on pornography and pornographic activities began to be abolished in Denmark, criminal peepers have disappeared from Copenhagen; reports to the police of peeping dropped from 76 in 1965 to 2 in 1972. ~ This change was unexpected because a) public attitudes toward peeping (as opposed to voyeurism, which is deviant but not criminal) had not become more lenient, and b) the peeper was supposed to derive much of his satisfaction from the illegality of his activities. ~ A description and analysis is presented of the case of a 68-yr-old sailor who had been a peeper since he was 30, but when restrictions an pornography were relaxed found films, live- shows etc. satisfactory substitutes for peeping. ~ Interviews in depth provided many indications of why he had become a peeper and why he stopped. ~ It is tentatively concluded that while the commitment to deviant behavior develops as an interaction between internal and external factors, the committing of crimes as a result of deviance is primarily determined by external factors: the law and the availability of legal and illegal opportunities.

There Ought To Be A Law !  The Law On Obscenity ... Utterly Obscene?
Author(s) Robbins, N.N.  Source Family coordinator  Document type Article
Volume 22  Number 4  Pages 475-478 Year 1973        Language English
Abstract

'There is a generally accepted axiom that you cannot regulate moral behavior by legislation.' ~  Three landmark decisions by the US Supreme Court related to its attempt to 'define what constitutes obscenity,' are discussed. ~ It is suggested that these efforts have created more problems and questions for enforcement agencies, legal authorities, and legislatures than had previously existed. ~ Furthermore, the confusion is seen to be the direct result of the Court's attempting to define a 'largely undefinable abstract concept.' ~ The results of this attempt and the latest developments in clarifying the laws on obscenity are presented.

Purposeful Untruths in Reporting The Negative Effects of Porn

Feminist View on Porn and Rape

In 1984, President Ronald Reagan appointed Attorney General Ed Meese to head the Meese Commission. This commission was to study the effects of pornography on society. ~ Keep in mind, Meese once backed a bill to make selling minors a magazine with a naked female breast in it a *federal crime*.

Who has the sick mind, Mr. Meese?
